Today’s  365 day photo challenge daily photo is all about waiting for popcorn, the best food ever! (Don’t tell my human sister, Sarah. She hates it when I eat human food.)

Anyway, despite the fact that I’m super cute, I don’t really enjoy having my picture taken. It kinda makes me nervous and I usually end up with my face turned away when the picture is snapped or with my ears pinned back to my head in anxiety. But the pic I’m posting today actually makes me look good… and we owe it all to popcorn!

You see… I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE freshly popped popcorn. Luckily, my mom likes to make and eat it a couple of times a month or more, usually late at night after everyone else has gone to bed. Which is great, because then it’s just the two of us fighting over it.

I’ve learned that if I sit patiently with this cute hopeful look on my face, sooner or later my mom will give in and start throwing me a few pieces of popcorn. I’d really like to dig in and eat it all, but we dogs have to take what we can get. You know what I mean?

Anyway, one night recently, Mom caught me in my cute act:

As you can see, I’m looking right at the camera and my ears are up! This just might be the best picture my mom ever took of me!
